PHILIPPINES CONSTRUCTION EXHIBITION,
MANILA NOVEMBER 1998
Following Svenic's outstanding success at the World of Concrete
Singapore in September, it was decided to exhibit at Philconstruct. |
Again, a well planned, direct marketing effort was focused on all
countries within the South East Asia region including Brunie,
China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New
Zealand, the Pacific Region, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and of
course the Philippines.
The show can only be described as enormous, with attendees in
excess of 20,000. The show was EXTREMELY successful for Svenic.
Our staff of four headed by Graham Johnstone - Product Business
Manager and Peter Coundouris - General Manager were kept extremely
busy throughout the four days of the show.
The interest generated in Svenic's range of products was
excellent, despite the economic turmoil in the region. It was also
good to meet or renew acquaintance with our many  customers and
friends in the Asian region once again.

For many years, Svenic has been widely recognised in the
Construction Industry as a quality supplier of equipment. Over the
years, a number of increases in our range of products, including
Two Component Cartridges, Mini Cartridges, Syringes, specialist
Bi-Mixers and Static Mixers, have meant more and more of our
product has had greater appeal to other markets. AIEE in Melbourne
was chosen as the venue to launch many of our new products to the
Industrial Markets. During the four days, our staff of Mara
Ilievski, Graham Johnstone and Peter Coundouris received numerous
and varied enquiries.

These ranged from simple and low cost ways
of Measuring, Mixing and Dispensing a variety of Two Component
Products, applying a variety of Single and Dual Component Sealants
and Adhesives, and Specialists Applicators (especially two
component Bi-Mixers). Enquiries were not only received from our
traditional Building and Construction Market, but included Mould
Makers using Two Component Polyurethanes, the Auto, Aerospace and
Marine Industries.
