AN OUTSTANDING SUCCESS
An OUTSTANDING SUCCESS still does not describe how successful
the show was for Svenic Australia. This was despite the current
economic turmoil within the region and a drop in show attendance
numbers by over 50%.
Having survived two recessions in Australia, we knew we could
not rely on the show organisers alone to attract the quantity and
quality of enquiries we required. A well planned, direct marketing
effort, was focused on all countries within the region including
Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea,
Malaysia, New Zealand, Pacific Region, Philippines, Taiwan,
Thailand and of course Singapore. |
Our staff were kept constantly busy throughout the three (3) days
of the show, with existing and potentially new customers.
It was excellent for our team of Mara Ilievski - Customer
Service, Graham Johnstone - Product Business Manager and Peter
Coundouris - General Manager to meet or renew acquaintances with
many of our friends in the Asian region.
Final analysis revealed Svenic Australia
directly attracted almost 20% of the numbers to the World of
Concrete. |
