The Crack Injection System in useCrack Injection Systems Available

Manual or Air Operated Dispensing

Dispensing is by way of either a manual or air operated bi-mixer applicator.

When using air, we always recommend turning the guns integral air pressure regulator to minimum pressure to avoid "blowing" the flanges from the substrate.

Svenic has available two systems for injecting materials via its face fixed flange or ports.

Barrel Gun System

Barrel Gun SystemThe system allows for premixed injection material to be loaded into the gun and dispensed through our wide range of Flanges and Ports using an Adaptor or Coupler. Care should always be taken to ensure that the material is metered and mixed in the correct ratio.

Ratio-Pak Twin Cartridge System.

Ratio-Pak Twin Cartridge SystemRatio-Pak is ideal for two component material eliminating the need for measuring and hand mixing with reduced wastage. Safe and hygienic, the cartridges of unused material can also be re-plugged for use at a later stage.

Features of Svenic's Patented Face Fixed Flange or Port

Features of Svenic's Patented Face Fixed Flange

  1. Integral Self Locating Pin for fast siting over the crack

  2. A Roughened Base with Holes to increase adhesion to substrate

  3. A Ridge on the base to reduce the likelihood of surface sealing material entering and blocking up the hole through which the injection material passes.

  4. A Safety On/Off valve which can be operated simply by pushing or pulling the flange stem.

  5. Quick connection to and removal of the hose from the flange using a Svenic Adaptor.

  6. No drilling is required. The flange can be adhered directly to the substrate.

Correct Flange Adhesion

It is important when adhering the Svenic Face Fixed Flange to the substrate that at least 3-5 mm of surface sealing material extends beyond the circumference of the base of the flange. In addition, material should be allowed to pass through the holes on the base for additional adhesion.

Removing the Adaptor.

Svenic's Adaptor Removing Tool quickly disconnects the Adaptor from the stem of the Flange. The tools face should be positioned flush with the ring on the Adaptor and pulled straight back, away from the substrate.

Adaptor and Coupler

1) The Adaptor connects the hose to the flange or port incorporating a stem. Adaptors can be quickly and easily disconnected from the stem of the Flanges using the Svenic Adaptor Removing Tool.

2) The Coupler connects the hose to the flange or port incorporating a grease nipple. Flanges or ports incorporating a grease nipple can be disconnected from the Coupler in the normal way. Svenic's specially designed and manufactured grease nipples do not require high pressure to operate them. They can be injected with low pressure using either a Top of Page manual or air operated bi-mixer applicator.

Other Flanges and Ports

Svenic has available an extensive range
of other Flanges and Ports suitable for
high and low pressure injection.
